Teenager Driving Program
Whether you missed the boat when it came to Driver’s Ed in high school or maybe your high school does not offer a program at all, we are the place to go! We will make sure that you get all the instruction you need, learn how to use defensive driving techniques, understand all the road signs and can put common sense thinking into everyday driving.

Being a new driver is exciting and opens the door to a world of independence. With this new found freedom, of course, comes responsibility. Many people lose their lives or are seriously injured due to teens driving recklessly, driving while fatigued and/or distracted, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or simply not having enough experience. That’s why it’s so vital to know the rules and obey them carefully.

Our instructors can help teens succeed on both road test day and throughout your time as a licensed driver. Our proven strategies will increase teen safety and the safety of those around teen drivers.

Stuff you should keep in mind

The first thing you need to do when you get in the car is fasten your seatbelt, each and every time you get in.
Your side mirrors are there to be used, check them every 5 or 7 seconds.
Focus on your driving. No texting!
Don’t drink and drive. Ever!

These may seem like common sense tips but they are important to driving properly and legally. We will cover these and much more until you know everything you need to know to become a good driver.

Parents

After spending years protecting your children from all sorts of dangers on the road and off, you now face the prospect of handing them the keys to the family car. It’s time for them to learn to drive. Are you prepared? We can help you mold your young adult into a safe and capable driver.

The first year of driving is the most important year of driving for your teenager. The participation of parents can make a positive difference. Younger drivers are in a greater number of crashes than other age groups. The crashes that involve teens also tend to be more serious than crashes that involve only drivers in other age groups.

As a parent, you can have a positive impact through knowledge of the New York State Graduated License law and by utilizing the links below. Having your teen take formal driving lessons will also help them make good safe driving decisions when it matters most.
